ABSTRACT
Responses to the Reviewers:
Review 3:
Question1.
The major drawback of the first part of the study is the lack of a direct measurement of GFR such as inulin clearance.
Answer 1.
We were not able to perform direct measurement of GFR such as inulin clearance.
Question 2.
They should clarify what are the outcomes and covariates in the logistic regression analysis and how they selected sex, diabetes, BMI, HDL cholesterol and eGFR as the covariates in the model of CAGB and age, glycaemia on admission and left ventricular ejection fraction the covariates of for death.
Answer 2.
In multivariate analysis we took into account all factors influencing 30-day mortality in patients with LMD treated with CABG such as sex, diabetes, BMI, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, eGFR assessed by various methods and others. We mentioned in our manuscript only factors which significantly correlated with higher 30-day mortality on multivariate analysis.
Question 3
"Distribution of every variable was tested with the Student's t test or the Mann-Whitney U test." should be "Difference in mean of continuous variable was compared using the Student's t test or the Mann-Whitney U test." "Chi2 test" would be "Chi-square test". "The statistic software STATISTICA 10 was used." is a replication of the first sentence.
Answer 3.
Section “Statistica” was changed according to Reviewer’s suggestion.
Thank you very much for your kind remarks.
Yours sincerely
